Home Repair Program:

Thank you for your interest in our program. Jerusalem Farm requires applicants to meet the following requirements:

  • Applicants must own the home they wish to repair.
  • Applicant income must be below 80% of the median income in the area.
  • Applicant must commit to paying the cost of the materials to be used. There is no minimum payment.
  • Jerusalem Farm will provide a bill of materials when the project is completed. Interest-free loans are offered and can be paid off monthly.
  • Before starting the project, the applicant must come to an agreement with Jerusalem Farm about the amount they will pay when we finish the project. It is also possible to arrange a job exchange.
  • Jerusalem Farm uses the help of volunteers, including high school and college students to complete the projects. Sometimes we hire local residents.
  • Jerusalem Farm hopes that the family of the approved applicant will help with the project to be carried out. We exist to help people help themselves, and we believe that the best way to achieve this is to work together. Our primary goal is to provide access to resources otherwise inaccessible.
  • Jerusalem Farm can only provide services within the six neighborhoods shown below (Kansas City's Historic Northeast):
